MUSICA NOSTRA ("Our Music" in 'Italiano') is a unique ensemble that is really three-bands-in-one. Primarily performing old Italian and Mediterranian Mandolin music... (think: "O' Sole Mio" and the "Theme From the Godfather"...) they also have a nice repertoire of Acoustic Swing and Appalachian Fiddle tunes.

Heart-felt and "sympatico" is the only way to describe this group that features old arrangements written for Mandolin Orchestras that were handed down to band leader Dick Hull by his Italian Grandfather and Great Uncle. Dick performs on first mandolin then switches to guitar for the Swing and "Fiddle" tunes.

Joining Dick is Bob Kogut on second mandolin and then violin for the old Appalachian fiddle tunes as well as the Stephan Grappelli-influenced "Swing Set". Rounding out the Trio is Joseph Hasty playing guitar for the Italian Music then moving over to Up-right Bass for remainder of the show.
